Oh yeah the pod racing kicked ass. And yeah I know what you mean. I grew up with the original Star Wars too. I used to hate them, because my dad and brother would play them all the time. Then as I got older I really began to like all the movies.

You know when Yoda suddenly starts to fight like a crazed frog jumping around at full speed, I thought it was funny because I have grown up seeing Yoda move very slow ( the original 3 movies you know what I mean) and that was because he was very old. It probably would have looked really fake if the Yoda puppet started to fight!, so I guess Yoda had to wait 20 years for computers to catch up! - anyways my favorite part of Phantom Menace is the Pod Racing....

Yes I totally know what you mean. Jim Henson who helped create Yoda and the Muppet was a genius. But I think that Yoda looked better in the original Star Wars. In this one he looks a little odd to me. But yeah I do know what you mean puppets do seem to have a life of there own. Hee hee. So both a very cool. Though it would have been funny to see these guys try to do the fight scenes with the puppet. LOL.

Yes for sure, Yoda does move better in C.G., but I think Frank Oz, who controlled the original Yoda puppet gave it some kind of magic that is missing in the C.G. Yoda .... I love CG but sometimes puppets have a life of their own , know what I mean??.... cheers!

I like the CG one. I don't know it just seems better. But hey to each there own right? Hee hee.

I don't, I prefer the puppet Yoda, way cooler, the CG Yoda looks ridiculous, you can tell its CG, and that ruins it.

I think that's because they used the old puppet like in four though six, but then moved to C.G. In two and three. I like the C.G. Yoda much better I think that he moves better.
